These Terms govern your use of the Finnie app, operated by Finnie Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Finnie," "we," "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
Finnie helps you visualize your finances and progress toward financial independence. Finnie is not a financial, investment, tax, or legal advisor, and nothing in the app is advice or a recommendation. Projections are estimates based on general assumptions (for example, a default 7% annual return, 3% inflation, and a 4% withdrawal rate); they are illustrations, not guarantees of future results. Decisions about your money are yours — consult a licensed professional before acting.
Finnie connects to your accounts on a read-only basis to display your information. Finnie will never initiate a transfer, payment, trade, or any transaction on your accounts.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Account linking is provided through Plaid; by linking an institution you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
Don't misuse the service — no attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering, disrupting the service, or using it unlawfully.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that projections, estimates, or third-party data (including data from Plaid or your institutions) are accurate, complete, or current. Finnie is not a bank and does not provide banking, brokerage, or advisory services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finnie Technologies LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial decisions you make based on the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US$50.
You can stop using Finnie and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms; we'll post changes here and update the date, and material changes may require re-acknowledgement in the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
